At La Esperanza Vineyard and Winery, we offer a little bit of wine with a
lot of heart. David and Esperanza Gurule, owners/vintners, inherited
the
land and original structures from Esperanza's moth
er, Anton
ia Orosco. The
land was homesteaded by Antonia's father, D
on Anto
nio De La O in 1906.
With Antonia's blessing, David and Esperanza started growing grapevi
nes
in 1998 with the help of their three childre
n, Carrie, Patricia an
d Pa
ul.
Antonia's only request was that it be named afte

Esperanza. Esperanza means hope, to dream, to
